Hello all
Hope this post finds you in good health and spirit. This post is about interesting new feature of SCCM 1902. I am sure many of you must have heard a complain from end user that they were not intimated about a required deployment or computer restart. Reason being the toast notifications are easier to miss.
SCCM 1902 has fix for it. You can configure dialog box for required application deployment and computer restart. This is how it will look:
Isn’t it interesting?
How to configure
To enable dialog window for application deployment, click on User Experience and then select:
- When software changes are required, show a dialog window to the user instead of a toast notification
To enable dialog box for restart go to Client Setting and then Computer Restart. You need to select:
- When a deployment requires a restart, show a dialog window to the user instead of a toast notification.
You can read more about this feature here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/apps/plan-design/plan-for-software-center#bkmk_impact
So this was all in this post. See you soon with some other technical stuff. Till then ” Ta-Ta”
Nice Artical Vinith

How about security updates? The document only specifies applications when changing from toast to dialog notifications.
