Hello friends, hope this post finds you in good health and spirit.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) has been crucial security parameter and you all must be using it daily already. Many organization have deployed their own MFA server, previously called phone factor and now Azure MFA server. BTW, did you knew that phone factor was previously a separate entity, PhoneFactor Inc. and was later acquired by Microsoft.
So, back to topic. Microsoft has announced that Azure MFA server will be deprecated on 30th September, 2024. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/updates/azure-multifactor-authentication-server-will-be-deprecated-30-september-2024/
So, if you have this deployment better start migrating on cloud-based Azure MFA service. Microsoft has provided detailed migration document – https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/authentication/how-to-migrate-mfa-server-to-azure-mfa
I have also done few implementation with federation for our customers. Can sniff some work for us as migration projects 🙂
So this is all in this post. See you soon with some other tech stuff. Till then, ta-ta.
If you are helped lend your hand to others : Share it
