Hi friends
Hope this post finds you in good health and spirit. This is not a post rather a reference. I do deliver lot of trainings on DNS and SRV records is very important topic in it. Netlogon service of DC register different SRV records in DNS. There is detailed post on technet which can serve as reference for me and students. So thought to put link here which will even save my effort on writing by myself (on lighter note).
Here is the reference:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc961719.aspx
I learned a new info today. Let me add here before I forget.
“DIT in ntds.dit stands for Directory Information Tree”.
